Dear Editor,

As a public school science teacher of 29 years, I was interested in your July 29th magazine article on Evolution and Intelligent Design. The establishment of evolutionists should remember that many famous scientists were Intelligent Design proponents. Two striking examples are Pasteur and Newton. Louis Pasteur said "The more I study nature, the more I am amazed at the Creator." Isaac Newton said "The most beautiful system of the sun, planets, and comets, could only proceed from the counsel and dominion of an intelligent and powerful Being." Evolutionists seem to be afraid that Intelligent Design will harm science students. It did not hurt producing the great minds of Newton, Carver, Pasteur, Lister, Faraday and many more. May all of my students end up helping the world as much as these great scientists did.
