The Campus Connector stops at several locations on the Minneapolis Campus, along Washington Avenue and near the football stadium. It stops at several places on the St Paul Campus including last of all, the Student Center. It is free for students and non-students alike. On the day of the Debate, Monday November 16, it runs every 5 minutes until 5:30 pm, then every 15 minutes until 10:00 pm and then every 40 minutes until midnight.
By Car
Take Cleveland Avenue north from Como Avenue or south from Larpenteur Avenue.
To drop off passengers turn east on Buford. The Student Center is one block from Cleveland and on the left. There are a few handicapped parking places behind the Student Center on Buford Circle
To drop off passengers and then park, continue on Commonwealth to Gortner Avenue and turn right. The Gortner Ramp is about 1 block and on your right. It is open 24 hours a day and is $6.00 on entry in the evening. If you continue south on Gortner, turn right on Commonwealth Avenue. Lot 101 will be on your right after about 2 blocks and allows entry until 8:30 pm on November 16 and exit at any time. The cost is $3.75 on entry.
To park first and walk to the Student Center, turn east on Commonwealth Avenue. Lot 101 will allow entry until 8:30 pm on November 16 and exit at any time. The cost is $3.75 on entry. The adventurous will find free parking a bit farther away on the Fair Grounds.
