I teach in Minnesota in Sept and we may be gone to China on a mission trip in October. We appreciate your prayers for that to work out. These are tentative dates we can adjust to your needs as we go along. Please pray for 12 students at each location.

California Classes
We will be transferring the 16 Lessons to your computer via flash stick. Please bring one of your own or your computer and we will transfer it to your stick or computer. This will also save on costs.

Track 1 Science series. Astronomy Goal. “They (heaven and earth) continue this day according to thy ordinances, for all are thy servants.” Ps. 119:91. This year’s goal is to show that the scientific Laws of the universe (God’s ordinances) were created to serve God. One purpose of science is to understand these laws so we can better serve God. (Prov. 1:7) We will see God’s Handiwork in the Solar System.

Track 2 Exploring God’s Basement Series - History and Archaeology
The Patriarchs and their interactions with Egypt. We will follow Abraham, Joseph and Moses as they interacted with the Egyptians. We will look at the Egyptian Technology and evidence for Joseph in Egyptian Literature. We will also look at the mummy of the Son of Pharaoh who was killed by the Plague God sent through Moses. Showing the Beginning of Written History will be one of our goals illustrated by the Book of Adam, Shem, Ham and Japheth, as well as other patriarchs from Genesis 1-11.

I teach how to research, illustrate and make a Power Point presentation. You can use this new class to help illustrate your Power Point lessons either for stories to illustrate Bible truths or pictures to defend the faith against evolution or to defend other Christian issues.

Pathfinders Part 1 Between Day 1 and Day 2, students will work at home to make a Power Point lesson for a Bible story, defend the faith issue or any program of your choice. You will bring to class your models as well as a Power Point program of 10-20 slides with your dialog or lesson script. It will be gently critiqued by the teacher and other students.

Pathfinders Part 2 has more Power Point instruction as well as illustrating your Power Point Lessons by:
Building your own photography sets with materials around the house
Legos, Doll houses and people, GI Joe sets, Lincoln Logs, Natural materials

Making replicas of archaeological artifacts can help you better understand what you are teaching in your lessons. When you have to think about and use the tools of ancient peoples you “walk in their shoes” (sandals) and learn a lot about them.
Making replicas using sand casting with plaster or cement.
